Multi-Age Peer Teaching

Today we had the opportunity to share our knowledge of Pocahontas and the Powhatan Native Americans with three other classes.  This morning we collaborated with Mrs. Heathcock's two second grade classes, and we shared our wigwams and longhouses.  We discussed what we've learned through our kinderchallenge and "k wonders" posts, and the second graders taught us a bit more about the Powhatan tribe.  This afternoon we used Google+ Hangout to connect with a third grade class at Burnley-Moran Elementary.  We shared our projects, and they reviewed what they've learned about Native American tribes.
