Our Research Projects: Oceans, Animals, Dinosaurs, and Outer Space

Over the next few weeks, each of the giraffes will be researching and writing their own non-fiction story on a topic of their choice.  Today, we visited Mrs. Techman in the library to start our research projects.  She taught us which tools would work best for us, and she helped us find books on the topics that we chose.  We brought our books back to our classroom, and we read a little bit about each subject. Each kindergartener will be bringing home a note card with their topic.  Please help them do some research from home this weekend.  We will begin writing our stories next week.  Thanks so much for your help!
