Monster Challenge with Mr. T's class at Meriwether Lewis Elementary

Using our class Twitter account, the giraffe class has connected with Mr. Thornton's kindergarten class at Meriwether Lewis Elementary School.  During morning meeting or extended learning time, we post "I wonder" questions and "kinderchallenges" back and forth.  Answering these questions and challenges gives us practice both reading and writing and creates an authentic audience for our work.  We've had so much fun with this so far, and we hope to continue this partnership as the year goes on!
